Since 2003, we have made the effort to progress the field trial and hunt test sport.  SWMRC has become wealth of information for training, breeding and competing gun dogs. We have been proudly recognized by The American Kennel Club and United Kennel Club as a registered club

Our Mission

We were organized for the purpose of encouraging and promoting the role of pure-bred retrievers as hunting dogs and to provide a vehicle for retriever handlers to improve their skills, education and working knowledge of retriever breeds for hunting, hunt test competitions and field trials. We  provide an atmosphere of companionship between retriever owners, handlers and to encourage sportsmanlike competition and mentorship at all events.
